Pallasium was formed in December 2005 by an executive team with over 60 years of aggregated experience in the mobile industry. The founders have held senior positions in mobile network operation, infrastructure vendors and a number of VC backed wireless technology companies.

The founders have extensive track record in the development and deployment of new products as well as detailed knowledge of wireless infrastructure systems and the maximization of radio capacity systems.

Pallasium is a pioneer in the development of algorithms and software based solutions enabling WiMax and other OFDMA networks increase their capacity much beyond their original capability. The increased co-located capacity achieved by using Pallasium's solutions also eliminates the need to install additional antennas or radio elements, as required by other competing solutions, such as the "Smart Antenna" one. The embedded software solution also enables WiMax and other OFDM network operators buy less spectrum bandwidth, while providing the same amount of capacity required.

Pallasium technology improves the economics of WiMAX networks by significantly increasing their capacity and the utilization of their spectrum resources, while using existing network infrastructure, as well as standard radio and antenna elements.
